CHRISTMAS BUTTONS & DECORATIONS

 Perhaps I should not have 2 blogs...

because I don't always check where I am.....

So you all get the Freedom Ride I did on Thursday to Maldon...

NOW

why I popped by here

I needed to print off some screen shots I had been sent for cross stitch conversions

using Christmas designs

& 

all on one page looked interesting printed..

I kept admiring them

like one sees a good image of one's self in a mirror...

So I got into the collage place to see...

what could happen ....

Now it is beautifully warm

I will walk..need that !

Mask on ...cooler shirt on & I am off.... 

Santas ....

 The remainder of this season's Santa decoration & Button collection arrived this week past....

I am always thrilled to see them arrive in wood....left as scruffy old pen .....then I dip my paint brush into water & then squeeze out the paint and they come to life in a different way.

I have shrunk some of the decorations for buttons & was uncertain how much tricky spaces I'd need to paint, but they have worked well & in that process of painting all I will now get another of the decorations shrunk to button size...

Then I had the deer blank on the table & will now add a little cutout & etch to it.... how exciting the creating is ...

This is one new button.... for the decoration the deer had to stay behind as it would have not hung well from a tree branch... but I love it..happiness plus. This has also been a variation on a conversion done in cross stitch by Ulrike in Germany.... it looks super too..
