Tags and Buttons

I always love a tag, with bakers twine and a little stamping and one of my buttons.

Now that I have stopped the wholesale part of my world and now only do retail...

I can mix up the carding...

experiment in small spots with different packaging 

that I do not need to repeat or make many there of...

As I love doing this & seem to collect all matter of tags/ envelopes/ paper I am now ready for new adventures in this to begin.

I also love to do these button stories and design a layout as I go.... it tells stories in a creative fashion.

I did many of these last year I think and maybe the year before....

Without charging anything for the design extras in what was packaging....on off designs that fitted the buttons I had on the table...

I will do more of these in a little while.

My other delight was exploring Flodesk Newsletter templates last week ...& now I have joined that newsletter.... for a monthly fee.

I need to now find how to put code into my website ( do I feel dumb when I get to these challenges !!! )

... not much really when you consider our health challenges.... 

mixed with illusions...of government control   that place us in so much danger and prolong the restrictions.. 

all for a silly point...

it isn't the last war people were conscripted to 

or the last big union march...

So my bit of code is perhaps never going to help in anything ever ....

How sad that is to cast one's glance in that direction.

However if we remain vigilant to social distancing and wear a mask

 ( my newest fashion fad Love what innovation has come out of that ) 

respect each person, we will be better off ?

Illustrated Stitching Designs

I have been illustrating a lot of stitchery designs...

Making the packaging for all to work well in paper....

and 

then I will launch....

The illustrations work well to stitch, maybe use some watercolour pencils in some places....

Some can be a mix of felt applique or fabric applique....no instructions for this, but simple to add felt flowers instead of stitching is one example.

Fabric painting is another medium that looks great with my designs.

They are all Copyright and that means available for your personal use, not placing them on pinterest for others to copy ( I can do that ! )

You can use them in a non commercial sense... to make cushions for example for a market stall you have or very limited to sell finished to shops acknowledging they are my designs.

There are so many..

Funny a person commented only last week on Instagram as I splashed a photo of many on the post.

She recognised my style & called it out as my designs 20 years ago in books.....she was right in the sense the style is distinctive ..ie it is a part of me...

When I draw ladies this is a part of me & how one part of my personality is depicted !  

Even down to how I bend stiffly at base of spine !

Very telling
