hearts with buttons
Hearts of fabric that make the bright painted buttons sing.
I have laid them onto a hoop with felt background

Some aspects of Life can be simple, pleasure in creating beautiful pictures is one of them....
Many of the amazing creations happen in a moment ,not laboured over for weeks !
When I design I draw from a space inside of me that has no boundaries....
For a wood piece to be painted ...
I am mindful ( most of the time ) to areas that are so tight to paint that mistakes can be made too often.....which for one or 2 pieces would be ok but doing many is not my idea of pleasure....
Above all my work is pleasurable..
I love painting these bright colours.... they sing a very happy song.

I have loved painting "patched" hearts for a very long time..
Once they were big enough to decorate a wall

today
they come in different sized buttons
These are painted with no guidance of colour or design placed on the patches...
Often the colour is what I have on my palette..
These brighten my day and my soul
